Teaching program:

Every year the STVA PhD promotes courses, lessons, seminars and workshops as integral part of the educational program of the STVA PhD students. Thus, these activities are mandatory. In addition, a mandatory 30 hours course of “Computer Science and Data analysis” with a final exam is provided every year. The STVA PhD students are also encouraged to attend specific international and national educational programs (meetings, seminars, Schools, etc.) concerning their specific research projects.

The courses of the STVA PhD program may be attended also by the PhD students from local and national programs and by other students. The STVA PhD program does not offer English language courses that are provided by CLA (Linguistic Centre of the university). The improvement of the English language skills of the STVA PhD students (verified during the evaluation interview of the candidates for the PhD scholarships) is constantly encouraged through participation in international meetings.

A period abroad of at least of three months is mandatory.
