Program

What we know about dinosaurs does not always come from skeletons: footprints tell different stories—the stories of living animals that left their traces in the past. In this tour/workshop we will start from examples displayed in the Geological Collection “Giovanni Capellini Museum”, and then discover how paleontologists study footprints in the ground and decipher trackways.
Guiding the journey will be Dr. Fiorillo, who has studied dinosaur footprints in Alaska for many years, and Dr. Contessi, curator of the museum, here in the role of a track hunter.
