Monitoring, surveillance and remediation

Study, analysis and methodologies aimed at understanding the interaction between environmental matrices and organisms, including humans, identifying risk factors and planning recovery measures to minimize the impact on the environment and health.

Monitoring, surveillance, and remediation research is a multidisciplinary field that combines scientific, technological, and digital expertise to address environmental and health challenges.

This allows for the planning and execution of data collection and analysis (monitoring) in the field or in the laboratory, utilizing direct measurements, biomarkers, and digital platforms. The data obtained from surveillance activities allows for the identification of several risk factors, which can then be used to plan and implement environmental remediation measures, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures that have a direct impact on the environment and humans. The multidisciplinary approach also enables a thorough examination of the complex interactions between environmental matrices (air, water, and soil) and living organisms (prokaryotes and eukaryotes), including human.

In light of this, it is possible to create a dynamic and innovative approach that supports sustainability, safety, and a continuous response to environmental issues.
