Health and Environmental Physiology

Research group investigating the physiological responses developed by human or animal cells exposed to endogenous (hormones, neuromodulators, growth factors) and exogenous molecules (nutrients or environmental factors). The aim is understanding action mechanisms, pro and anti-inflammatory responses, alteration of physiological regulatory pathways, activation of protective responses, and individual susceptibility.
