Our paleontological research focuses primarily on Vertebrate Paleontology, Micropaleontology, and Astrobiology. In so doing, we integrate classic paleontological methodologies with other disciplines such as geochemistry, comparative anatomy, microbiology, field geology. Our group has established scientific collaborations and coordinates cutting-edge, international research projects. We are also actively involved in museology and history of geology and paleontology in collaboration with the Museo Geologico Giovanni Capellini.
