Educational laboratory for micropaleontology

The laboratory, located on the second floor of Via Zamboni 67, consists of 20 stations with stereomicroscopes that allow maximum magnification of about 70 x. These instruments are suitable for analyses by transmitted and reflected light, of the main microfossil groups available in the didactic collection, such as foraminifers, radiolarians, diatoms, ostracods, conodonts, calpionellids and pteropods.

This laboratory also includes a PC and a camera microscope both connected to a projector.
