This line of research gives access to an archive of ecological responses to past climate transitions that could elucidate near-future scenarios of marine ecosystems under global warming.
This research mainly addresses the following: 1) define ecosystem or species baselines in the shallow-marine setting of the Mediterranean basin; 2) document ecosystem or species natural variability to the Quaternary climate changes; 3) Contrast present-day ecosystems or species with the baselines.
